    NURSE QUALIFIED CARE HOME MANAGER

    £50K + BONUS

    FULL TIME

    MORPETH, NORTHUMBERLAND


    White Knight Recruitment are working in partnership with a forward thinking national provider of care and nursing homes across the UK. This innovative provider has a requirement for a Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified) for their specialist home in Northumberland that supports individuals with a range of needs including;


    • Nursing and Residential
    • Nursing Dementia Care
    • Residential Dementia Care
    • Respite
    • Palliative and end of life care


    This 58 bedded home is uses modern practices allowing carers to help those with dementia to protect their life skills for longer than they would otherwise be able, in support of the UK National Dementia Strategy. The role will include the following responsibilities:


    • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements as well as providing effective leaderships
    • To be responsible and accountable to all the day to day activities of the home
    • Achieve the highest standards of person centred care
    • Ensure safe management of medications in accordance with company policies and current legislations
    • Build and lead successful team with clear roles, standards and expectations
    • Control and monitor budget expenditure for each department
    • Safeguard company and resident finances by monitoring and managing money


    The successful manager will have the following experience:


    • Experience of overseeing a nursing home of a similar or larger size
    • Experience in turning a home around
    • You must be NURSE QUALIFIED with a valid PIN
    • Experience of working closely with nursing and care teams to produce the best outcomes for care and nursing of residents
