    Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager

    £19.06 per hour / £34,784 per annum

    White Knight Recruitment are working with a leading provider in adult social care and have an opportunity for a Nurse Qualified Deputy Home Manager to join a service in Bromley

    The home, currently rated GOOD with CQC, supports 30 individuals who have a range of physical disabilities / complex needs in a residential service in Bromley as a Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager you will support the service manager in the day to day operation of the service, deputising in their absence and be responsible for the direct line management of the nurses and support staff within the service.  

    Your key responsibilities will include;

    • Ensuring person centred plans are assessed, planned, evaluated and implemented whilst consulting with and involving the client, their family, support staff and other health care professionals
    • Ensure a high quality and efficient service deliver
    • Oversee all work ensuring safety and relevant legislations, policies, standards and guidance are met
    • Rota management to ensure appropriate staffing levels are adhered to
    • Ensure all nursing support meets clients’ needs and are in accordance with both the providers and NMC guidelines
    • Recruitment and induction of new staff
    • Participate in the on-call rota as required
    • Participate in supervision, staff meetings and training activities

    About you

    • You will be a registered Nurse holding current registration with the NMC
    • You will hold a relevant management qualification i.e. level 5 leadership in Health & Social Care
    • Thorough and up to date knowledge of nursing theory and best practise of an experienced Nurse (level 6) being able to demonstrate effective nursing practise in all basic registered nurse procedures
    • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct
    • Experience in managing a team of nurses
    • Experience in working with individuals who have physical and or learning disabilities
    • To be able to work flexibly in accordance with rostered hours
    • Budget management experience
