This registered charity has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.
The Registered Manager will:
·Have experience delivering interventions within a forensic mental health setting, including orders and discharge pathways
·Be an outstanding practitioner and passionate advocator
·Be Qualified at least to Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care level or willing to commit to the qualification
·Have experience implementing best practice in mental health accommodation settings
The essence of this role is to provide effective management of a forensic Registered (Mental Health) Care Home. As a Registered Manager in this vital team, you are accountable to both the charity and the Care Quality Commission for the day-to-day operation of the registered home. You will manage a wonderful team in an established home and will be a role model of sound professional practice, leading the team in the delivery of asset-based support and care.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced person to join our team to deliver an outstanding CQC registered care home for people with mental health and other complex factors. As Registered Manager, you will lead a skilled and knowledgeable team and drive improvements, role modelling best practice to maintain CQC registration and strive for increased quality. You will be caring and an outstanding advocate for the people we work with, co-producing interventions and supporting people to live independent lives whilst living in a caring and supportive environment.
·Be an approachable and thoughtful supervisor, giving space and time for your team to review their practice and seek opportunities to grow and develop
·Led by what works well for the people we work with, engaging with them at every opportunity to ensure their home is comfortable and welcoming
·Be knowledgeable in all matters regarding CQC and able to lead the team to excellence
·Be clear on COVID protocols including testing for the team and clients
·Have the ability to lead on service evaluations, report writing, and data analysis
·Be skilled at developing excellent partnerships
·Be skilled in risk management and crisis resolution to minimise reoffending risk behaviour
·Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required as the manager
