Students – 2008 Summer Work

We are no longer registering students for Summer work this year. Some of you have been in to see us or emailed us your CV and, as promised, we have kept these on file and will be in touch should we need to register more students.

At this time of year White Knight are approached by many University students looking for office-based work during the holidays, so it is a very competitive time of year.  It is worth bearing in mind that, with such large numbers available for summer work, we are able to hand pick those that stand out in terms of personal presentation, telephone manner and even letters of introduction and CV layout. 

Candidates that approach us either in person, by phone or online are assessed initially on all of the above and may then be invited in for registration.  At the point of registration we are looking for those with excellent written and interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and a willingness to be flexible in their approach to work.

For those who have not yet had the opportunity to register with White Knight, do get in touch when you are next free from University. It is not always possible to register everyone immediately, but those that are proactive earlier in the summer months have the best chance of securing themselves work, so it is worth making an extra effort to ensure you are remembered.
