Outreach Project Worker

OUTREACH PROJECT WORKER – DOMESTIC ABUSE – SOUTHAMPTON – £22,635 – £23,447 PER ANNUM
 
MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9AM TO 5PM – OWN TRANSPORT REQUIRED
 
White Knight Recruitment are working in partnership with an innovative and unique provider of all services to those affected by domestic abuse. 
 
Key responsibilities of this role:
 
·The focus of this role is on preventing domestic abuse by providing support, advice and assistance to adults in the community who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
·To provide safety planning, support, advice, and assistance to adults in the community supporting them to keep safe in and maintain their current or new accommodation.
·The post-holder will work to empower and support all victims and survivors of domestic abuse to make positive choices.
·To work in partnership with Southampton IDVA service to deliver Pippa (Prevention, Intervention and Public Protection Alliance) providing initial advice, information and guidance to victims, professionals, and family members.
 
Experience required:
 
·Experience of working with vulnerable groups
·Experience of recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns
·Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel etc and able to effectively maintain Electronic Case Management
·Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
