Support Worker

White Knight Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Recovery worker within the Southampton area. The ideal candidate for this role will need to have had previous experience working as support worker or in a similar environment.
My client provides supported accommodation for homeless adults, in a 56-roomed property in Southampton.
As a RECOVERY WORKER, you will be required to support the physical and mental wellbeing of the service users, whilst having an understanding and compassionate attitude. You will support various service users including adults with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Your duties may include;
– Providing high standard of support to all services users.
– Promoting and encouraging independent living.
– Supporting and encouraging the clients to engage with employers.
Shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
To be considered for this role, you must have:
· Reliable and an enthusiastic team member
· Flexible and adaptable
· Good organisational skills
· Ability to work night shifts including alternate weekend
· Experience as a Support Worker
· Driving Licence
All suitable candidates are required to undergo an enhanced level criminal record disclosure.
