As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in helping these children navigate their challenges and build a brighter future.
Responsibilities:
– Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
– Help individuals participate in community activities and access community resources
– Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor
– Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
– Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with individuals with children is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Compassionate and patient demeanour
– Reliable transportation to travel to different locations as needed
