White Knight Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local NHS provider, to find a Theatre Stock Management Officer on a Permanent basis.
In this role, you will be providing complete product control and procurement system service on behalf of the NHS Trust. You will act as a front-line liaison between high level clinical staff and procurement service, which proactively supporting numerous teams.
This position will be covering two locations, Basingstoke and Winchester, so it is essential that you are a driver.
Key Responsibilities:
·Using internal systems for ordering, invoice resolution and information management in order to keep stock management and documentation up to date.
·Taking part in all inventory control, supply chain principles, managed inventory principals, manual handling and customer service to keep the services up to date and maintain an up-to-date financial record of stock held within the Trust.
·Meeting ordering and delivery deadlines for consumables to wards in order for patient care to be maintained by medical staff.
·Utilises Oracle system including I-proc and Purchase Buyer functions using Electronic Data Capture system including catalogue management, JIT and PDA functions.
Key Requirements:
·Experience of purchasing system software
·Experience of working with receipts and distribution
·Experience of stock and inventory management systems
·Specialist supply chain knowledge
·Competent with Word, Excel, Access and procurement systems
·Working towards or completion of NVQ3 or CIPS Equivalent
·Experience working in an NHS Environment is ideal
